Verification log

A tackle is the defend form of the same button you hike with. Hold it and the bodies collide. The official description says there are no canned animations. Players and the October guide say a heavy hit can knock a helmet off.

I looked for a key named hitstick in the Roblox description and did not find one. Videos use that word for a big collision. I am not going to invent a hitstick button. The inputs that exist are the held tackle and X to dive. The dive is also how people lunge at the goal line. On 15 October 2026 the Anchor badge, ten tackles in one game, showed a 1.1% award rate, the lowest of the five badges.

What to press

On PC, hold left click while you are near the ball carrier. On a controller that hold is RT or R2. On a phone it is the tap the description uses for tackle. X, or the dive button, is a separate lunge. Combining a dive with a collision is a player habit, not a third documented input.

Questions

What button is the hitstick?

There is no separate hitstick key in the official text. Big hits are the physics tackle on the normal tackle input.
